Why we exist
A ticket is litigation. We treat it that way.
Most people pay a ticket because paying looks cheaper than fighting. It rarely is. The fine is a one-time cost; the record, the demerits and the insurance consequences follow you for years, and for commercial drivers and newcomers to Canada, they can follow you further than that.
We were founded on a simple premise: Albertans facing a ticket deserve the same standard of representation and clarity they would get on any other courtroom file. We obtain disclosure on every matter, we scrutinise it, and we do not resolve a file without first assessing whether the Crown can prove it.
Driving matters in this province run through three separate regimes, and they do not work the same way. We act in all three.
