Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, store and destroy your personal information.

Ticket Defence Alberta is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where applicable, and our own confidentiality undertakings.

What we collect

When you contact us or submit a ticket we may collect your name, address, date of birth, driver's licence number, vehicle information, offence particulars, and any documents or photographs you send.

Why we collect it

Solely to assess your matter and, if we are retained, to act for you. We do not sell your information and do not use it beyond your matter.

How long we keep it

Only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected and to meet our professional and legal retention obligations. After that it is securely destroyed.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, and withdraw your consent to our use of it, by writing to info@ticketdab.ca. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer act for you.

Security

Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; please do not send sensitive material beyond what we need to assess your matter.

We use limited analytics to understand how the site is used. These do not identify you personally.
