A successful result means
- The charge is withdrawn or dismissed; or
- The charge is amended to a different offence carrying fewer demerit points (including zero); or
- The charge is resolved with a reduction in demerit points recorded against the licence; or
- The charge is resolved with a reduction in the fine of $X or more; or
- In an IRS / SafeRoads matter, the sanction is cancelled or reduced.
If none of these is achieved: no fee owed. No consultation fee. No file-opening fee. No disbursements. Nothing.

What if my charge is not reduced at all?
Then you owe us nothing. Not a consultation fee, not a file-opening fee, not disbursements. We still request disclosure, review it and negotiate; that work is at our risk, not yours.
Do I pay anything up front?
No. There is no retainer deposit and no consultation charge. Payment is due only if we achieve one of the successful results listed above.
Does the fee cover an appeal?
Appeals are a separate matter and are quoted separately. We will tell you before any appeal work begins.
Am I still responsible for the fine itself?
Yes. Any fine ordered by the Court is payable by you directly to the Court. Our fee is separate and applies only to our services.
