Notary Public & Commissioner for Oaths
About this charge
As a practising member of the Law Society of Alberta, we are both a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public. As a Commissioner for Oaths we administer oaths and affirmations and take affidavits and statutory declarations for use within Alberta. As a Notary Public we do all of that and more: certifying true copies, and witnessing, attesting and authenticating documents for use in other provinces and internationally, including powers of attorney and commercial instruments.
How we defend it
- Affidavits and statutory declarations for use in Alberta
- Certified true copies and international authentication
- Because we are agents rather than a signing service, we can tell you when a document needs advice before you sign
