About this charge
A conviction is not always the end of the matter. A traffic conviction may be appealed to the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, and an unfavourable SafeRoads decision may, in appropriate cases, be challenged by judicial review. Appeals turn on identifying reviewable error in the record, they are governed by strict deadlines, and they are not a second trial, which is precisely why they call for experienced counsel.
