Novice and Graduated Driver's Licence (GDL) offences
Provincial Traffic Offences
About this charge
Graduated-licence drivers are suspended at only eight demerit points, and any suspension resets the GDL clock and delays full licensing. Because the margin is so small, a single conviction that a fully licensed driver could absorb can derail a novice driver entirely, which is exactly why these charges are worth defending.
How we defend it
- Protect the eight-point margin
- Avoid a suspension that resets the graduation timeline
- Treat every point as material
