Provincial Traffic Offences
About this charge
Automated-enforcement tickets are issued to the registered owner and do not carry demerit points, but they do carry a fine and, unpaid, can obstruct your registration renewal. They are not beyond challenge: the calibration and deployment of the device, the adequacy of signage, and the identification of the vehicle are all live issues.
How we defend it
- Device calibration and deployment records
- Adequacy of signage at the location
- We assess whether disputing is worth your money before you spend it
